Saterday I didn’t had time to post a short matchreport, but here it is.

The war started with the players, Ghw0nvg as squadleader, Z4itsv, Supinn and Rest4rt, we played the map Red Clover 200kills and Dutch Elite had the NIU side. We started with 1 medic, 1 sniper and 2 Assaults. The first kill was ours, 1 kill lead, this lead was getting bigger very fast because of good tactics that where based om controlling the mid sector of the map. The opponent changed it tactic by playing with 2 medics and 2 snipers, to catch up with us. It didn’t work and our lead was growing, Rest4rt tought he could rush in because of the lead but was called back very quickly by Ghw0ng. We where just a little stronger and our lead was growning to 14 kills, and later this became 17 and even 20 points. But even with this ascending line the lag started to annoy us, but we stilled where better and the lead was growing and growing, from 21, to 24, and later even a 30 and 33 kills lead. but z4itsv was so annoyed by the lag that he had to complain shortly about it, at this same moment the opponont chose to play with 3snipers, again not a good choise and the lead was very fast 40kills, when the opponent stopt sniping our concentration became less, but the war was allready almost won, 4kills left and many kills form the opponent. The final score was 0kills left for us and 45kills left for the enemy.

After a nerve-racking first match where entire DE was listen to the TS conversations of the playing members, where we started at the wrong side because 4players got error messages while logging in, and where we started totaly unprepared because all training was focussed on Khali Derbaran. That are some of the most difficult circumstances where you can start in. But we played despite these problems great. Here is a short explanation per round.

0-1 We did spawn later then the opponent and we lost because they closed us in before we where out of the base.
1-1 We where quick on the right spots and could kill them very fast.
1-2 Halfway we had more players left, but with some mistakes we lost.
2-2 Good teamwork resulted in a simpel win.
3-2 Good tactics and smart playing resulted in another win.
3-3 We played this round bad, and lost despite we had more players halfway.
4-3 We won because we where stonger.
5-3 We won again because we where a little stronger then the opponent.
6-3 Same as the 2rounds above, with a note that we tought we allready finished the hard part.
6-4 We lost because their teamwork was really good.
7-4 Strong tactics and teamplay resulted in a win.
8-4 same as above.
8-5 We tought we had won and started to rush and make mistakes.
8-6 We still tought we allready had won and lost again a round.
9-6 In the last round it was 3vs1 at the end, the opponent planted the bomb, ran into Ghw0nvg who killed him, and after a defuse the end of the first war was there.

Now we are in the semi-final we face Guardians.Of.Darkness !. Again a strong turkish clan, and they never lost before! With their 37-0 reputation this is going to be a hard match. We allready started the preparation for this war and we play on Red Clover this time. A team deathmatch map where we maybe change our line-up.

After a short but exciting period Dutch Elite has managed to get a place in the EU 2008 Tournament - Season Opener.

We are placed as we believe in a good bracket, and we hope we face the hardest opponent only in the final.
But the first obstacle MasterPlan(LSD) is allready waiting for us this evening(06-06-08). This strong turkish clan with 117wins and 25loses can not be under-estimated. With the best preparation there is(The players are now preparing themselves physical and mentally) we’re going to blast off tonight. Khali here we come!

In the semi-final(07-06-08) Red Clover is played. This requires a different approach because its a team-deathmatch map.
If we win tonight we face tomorrow Guardians.Of.Darkness ! (G o D) or Last Evolution Killer (L-E-K).

But we first have to win tonight before we can talk about tomorrow.
